the AH skit

This is the skit we did on our intonation session. You see, different tones can make different meaning. Enjoy! *try to play it some time, it’d be fun!

Cast: Girl, thief, police, maid, father, mother, neighbour.

Scene: A living room.

Action: No word is spoken troughout except “Ah.”
Maid is dusting living room singing in “Ah’s.”
She sees the girl coming and gives a disgusted “Ah” and leaves.
Girl sits down and studies. She goes “Ah..Ahh..Ah.” (to show she understands).
Parents enter and the girl shows them her test paper.
Mother is delighted: “Aaahh!” and gives her a present.
Father congratulates her: “Aaahh.”
Girl puts the present in a jewelry box (or wherever) and goes to bed.
A thief enters: “Ah!” and takes the present.
The maid enters: “Ah! AAAHHHHH!” and screams for help.
Parents enter and scream.
Thief panics: “Ah..Aahh..Ah” ... and cannot escape.

Ending: Neighbour rushes in with police: “Ah!” They capture thief.
Thief leaves with cop.
Family all sigh: “Aaahhh.”

This is funniest when you do the entire skit in 3 sets-
1st normal speed-
2nd SLOW motion-
3rd super fast speed!
